I have GREAT NEWS to share with you. 

After many months of planning and preparation, we are now officially broadcasting from our new transmitter location at Deloraine Road, Knuckeys Lagoon.

Maybe you’ve noticed the difference already … a louder, stronger signal. That’s certainly been the feedback we’ve had from some of our listeners. 

We are so grateful to God for the way he made this happen, and the people He moved to support this vital project financially. 

Of course, this means so much more than simply a louder, stronger signal on the radio. 

Broadcasting from Deloraine Road means Darwin’s 97 Seven is more accessible than it has EVER been to the people of Darwin. It means … even more people will have the opportunity to experience God’s love through Darwin’s 97 Seven.  

And just as we needed your support for our transmitter relocation … we need your partnership right now to reach the thousands of people around us who need to experience that LOVE.  

Every day in Darwin, in your neighbourhood, people wonder how they will buy groceries this week or put fuel in the car. Others have lost their jobs and, shamefully, more people than we care to admit are dealing daily with the evil of domestic violence. 

But the solution is you and me, and every other follower of Jesus who chooses to be one of the million, million doors in the world for God’s love to walk through. 

From now until the end of June, we want to bring the “Kingdom Come” to the Top End with Acts of Love – just like Jesus did – to demonstrate God’s Love to people experiencing their own form of darkness today.

Because … the light of Jesus shines through every act of Love. 

As I write that, it occurs to me that in fact, every song we play is an act of love. Every program and bible verse we share is an act of love. EVERY word spoken by our announcers are acts of love for the people of Darwin and the Top End. 

And I’m reminded that every day, it costs Darwin’s 97 Seven $480 to do that. That’s right, $480 every day – to share the message that opens the door to eternal life with the people of Darwin. 

So, let me challenge you with this… will you be the door that God’s Love walks through by saying “yes” to supporting our Acts of Love Appeal.
