A Christmas Blessing from Vision

Written By: Ivan Green

December 23, 2022

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

With so much turmoil in the world it is always refreshing to take a moment to reflect on the beautiful things God has given us. Jesus Christ, who we celebrate a Christmas, is God’s ultimate gift. And God has lavished us with so many other gifts too, like the wonders of nature.

As our gift to you this Christmas, please enjoy a moment of peace with these stunning Australian landscapes captured on video by professional videographer Chris Tangey, and set to a beautiful rendition of “silent night”.

The video includes footage of the giant cross recently erected under the wide open skies at Haasts Bluff, 320km west of Alice Springs (close to the geographic centre of Australia) by the local Indigenous community.
